Changes at CSA Assure Both Leadership Continuity and Growth

Dr. Connor, Head of School since prior to Christina Seix Academy’s opening in 2012, served through August 31, 2026. Ms. Green, former Senior Director of Academic Programs, has stepped into the role for the 2026-2027 school year.

On October 1, 2026, Dr. Connor will step into the role of President and CEO of the Washington, D.C.-based SEED Foundation—the nation’s first and largest network of public, college-preparatory boarding schools. This national platform will enable Dr. Connor to further elevate CSA’s mission by sharing its impactful educational approach with partners across the region and country.

Deeply rooted in Trenton and bringing extensive experience from her tenure at CSA, Ms. Green will step into the role of Interim Head of School for the 2026–2027 academic year. She will be among the candidates for the permanent Head of School position, following a selection process led by a professional search firm chosen by the Board of Trustees in September 2026.

A Transparent CSA Transition

The Academy has committed to maintaining transparent communication throughout this transition. As he and Ms. Green collaborated on summer programming and events, they have prioritized engagement with staff, students, families, and alumni. To facilitate this, they have hosted listening sessions with the CSA community, alongside dedicated discussions with key stakeholders.

An updated CSA website will go live soon with news and social media platforms prominent on the homepage, including a Leadership Update Section similar to the one on the current website’s homepage. New actions tied to the leadership changes and permanent CSA Head of School search milestones will be shared as they occur.

CSA honors its role as an intergenerational learning community committed to listening. During this moment of transition, we continue to reinforce our values related to collective experience and leadership.
